Hey, Worship Leaders!

If you're noticing that this is a new address/blog, you're right! We created one just for you. There's so much we want to do to pour into you and different information we want to give you that we decided to make a separate one for you. This blog will be different from the PL blog, (which, unless you're a PL as well, we've removed you from and added you to this one instead). We want to build a community through blogging. It won't be just us posting announcements and making requests; it'll be you talking with each other.

Here at AIM we've been praying about how to minister to you, train you, and send you out in a way that you can feel equipped to fulfill your role on a trip well. There have been some amazing discussions about worship: what it is, what it isn't, the ministry of Scriptural worship, and what it means to make worship a lifestyle.

We'll post in the next few weeks about trips that need WLs and certain things just for youl. But right now we want to ask you to go out, buy this book, and read it. Then come back here and talk about it. Soon you'll receive an email from me with instructions as to how to log on to this blog and post. Please use this ability! It'll be a way that you can bounce ideas off each other and grow together with people of the same heart!

Here's the book: Exploring Worship by Bob Sorge. It's cheap- a used copy on Amazon can be purchased for $2.39. You can buy it here: http://www.amazon.com/Exploring-Worship-Practical-Guide-Praise/dp/0962118516/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1301084200&sr=8-1

We're asking for you to go out, buy this book, and come back here to blog about it. Not about what's happening personally or what happened on a trip, but about what God is saying through this book about what worship really is.

And while you're on project, we're asking for you to blog about this book and what God is teaching you through it while ministering as a WL on an AIM trip.

This doesn't have to be long. It can be a 3 sentence paragraph. The focus is to build community and learn as much as we possibly can about worship and what God desires it to be.

If you have any questions about this, please contact Christy at [email protected].

We are so thankful for you, Worship Leaders, and so thankful for the chance to pour into you!
